A trip to Joshua Tree today. I want to stand on that rock forever, soaking the desert sun into my skin like a lizard. This is a magical place, it has a presence, an awareness, a knowing. And those beautiful trees, twisting their Dr Seuss heads to the sky, I've never felt such peace as here amongst these strong, graceful desert dwellers.

This incredible duster jacket is by the talented ladies at DI$COUNT. These ladies blow my mind. Seriously.

art for spine

Here's a piece I drew for Art For Spine, a collective of artists, musicians and designers fundraising for spinal injury. Each year, art is donated from around Australia and auctioned off with proceeds going to the charity. This year's auction will be held in Brisbane on Sunday, October 7th 2012, and all pieces go under the hammer from 5.30pm sharp. My piece is entitled "My Future's So Bright", and is pencil on paper. Getcha wallets ready...

Sometimes I feel with my eyes. To me, Venice is a burnt yellow, Santa Monica a cool blue. Though when night falls, it brings with it a completely different paintbox. A blush of pink and purple, the romance of the skies.
