coachella part 1

Lights fight for my attention, an acid rain of lasers washing over me, pinching my pupils, hypnotising me with sensory overload. Music courses through my veins, my heart pumping a rhythm in time with this insanity, this energetic monster, this freight train. The pace quickens, and I rush to meet it. From so far away on that nebulous cloud, it comes faster and faster, a quickening I could never be ready for. And at this moment the explosion occurs- first my eyes, a burning screaming banshee trying to get out. I squeeze them tight and she travels to my chest, caged, fighting for a way out. And this prisoner incarcerated within this bony cell will not rest.

last of the desert nomad

Goodbye Palm Springs, my dusty friend, until next time we meet again.
Special thanks to the beautiful Viceroy. xx

good morning

Butterballs and blueberries, striped pool lounges, the night lit up like fireworks. And abandoned buildings. These are a few of my favourite things. (And whiskers on kittens too, but I didn't see any today).

Kaftan by Camilla, sunglasses by Retrosuperfuture, sun by California.

daze in the desert

Lazy hazy crazy daze of summer. And every day is summer here.

joshua

A trip to Joshua Tree today. I want to stand on that rock forever, soaking the desert sun into my skin like a lizard. This is a magical place, it has a presence, an awareness, a knowing. And those beautiful trees, twisting their Dr Seuss heads to the sky, I've never felt such peace as here amongst these strong, graceful desert dwellers.

This incredible duster jacket is by the talented ladies at DI$COUNT. These ladies blow my mind. Seriously.

Illamasqua nail polish in 'rare', lots and lots of suncream, and so much love.

Dream on, dreamers. xx
